Fundraiser to support families who struggle to create a voice for their children.

"On Monday April 7, from 6 to 10 p.m. Jacques Northshore Bistro at 120 Hana Highway in Paia will host "Artists for Autism", an event to help raise funds and awareness for autism. The talented local guitarist Anuhea will perform funky soulful vocals with no cover charge from 7 to 10 p.m.

An Art Fair will feature a diverse group of local artists (painters, photographers, jewelers, glass art and even a soap-maker artist) throughout the event. A silent auction with items donated by local artists and businesses will end at 9 p.m. with winning bids announced shortly after.

A portion of the proceeds from the artists' sales and all the proceeds from the silent auction will be donated to "Autism Bridges", a local nonprofit group that supports and assists families living with autism..."
